| Bio: | I'm a work in progress. No? Okay. My life has totally changed in the past 5 years and looks to be on a roll to continue to change. We aren't talking little changes, we are talking drastic changes. I left and divorced my husband of 26 years. Since 2003, my mother-in-law, mother, father, sister-in-law, close cousin, and sister have all died...in that order. The latest death was in May of 2007. Healthwise, I've resolved some things. I have less migraines and dizzy spells since I left my husband. Bad news is that they were actually symptoms of a blood clotting disease. In 2004 I developed bursitis in both shoulders in 2005 I tore my right shoulder and through it all developed pernicious anemia, with depression and phobias. In 2006, I was hospitalized with a pulmonary embolism which in turn was caused by a blood clotting disease called Antiphospholipidemia. I will be on blood thinners everyday of my life and if I don't, I'll throw blood clots which will do more heart damage and lung damage. It took me the rest of 2006 to recover. In 2007, I had an iron infusion, which turned me yellow, but helped my energy levels immeasurably. Was hospitalized with another blood clot (which is how I know I need to be on blood thinners the rest of my life). I'm looking for 2008 to be a better year. | |||||
